I love using the embellishment kits on my Project Life pages.
I kept it all very simple, like I normally do, ha, and added one of the splattered paint chipboard stars from the kit to my son’s photo on the left page. I love using chipboard shapes because they are flat enough to put in the album and they add nice visual interest without having to do to much, ya know? Oh, and in case you were curious – I always put these kind of embellishments on the outside of the page protector. :)
The cork word “play” was perfect to add to the photo of Luke playing on the stairs.
I love adding the round button stickers to photos. I put one in the middle of a photo (top right of left page) and then also included one on the picture of my son, Jack, sleeping (bottom left).
I love using the white space on my photos as a place to add embellishments from the kit, so you’ll see me add journaling, stamp the date and then add embellishments like the wooden stem piece and also some of the washi tape, too. I love the texture and depth it gives my pages without too much work.
I also added a gold foil leaf and pearl to one of my 4x6 journaling card inserts. A super simple way to add a bit of embellishing to them without having to think about it too much! ;)
So many great embellishments leftover to use on more projects, too! Love this May kit!
