I love creating DIY mini-albums, especially when I have a little bit more to say than can fit on a single scrapbook page. This month, I was inspired by the cloud transparencies to create an art-journal/scrapbook mini-album.
This 4x4 mini-album was put together using patterned paper, photos, a hole punch, and binder rings. I'm so tired of winter, and I wanted to create something that would evoke that sense of 'Spring Dreams'.
I created the base of the album by trimming sheets of patterned paper down to 4 inches by 4 inches. I used a tape runner to adhere the pages back to back (some pages made out of full size photos), and then used a standard size hole punch to punch two holes in each page to slip in binder rings.
I embellished the album with supplies from the Shine kit, including the clouds, dipped letters, and skinny washi tape.
Using a kit to embellish a mini-album makes it super easy to create a consistent theme throughout the album, and make sure that everything coordinates from the first page to the last.
