Hello Lovelies! Today is day 4 of this wonderful collaboration with Tombow
. We have seen some amazing projects using both company's products and I know I have learned a lot and hopefully you have too! Today we are sharing a pocket scrapbooking project by Megan Anderson
Lots of Freckled Fawn
products come with adhesive backings, but I know it can be troublesome to figure out how to attach those that don't to your projects! That's why I'm so excited to team up with Tombow this week! Their awesome adhesives (and pen!) were a huge help on this project.
Here's how I adhered embellishments on the left page:
Next, I wanted to jazz up a filler card. I used the Multi Mono Liquid Glue
to adhere the transparency heart (also from the January Capture kit). This glue dries clear, so it's a great way to add transparencies to your project in a no-show way!
For the "home" acrylic word from the Together is Best kit
, I used the Tombow XTreme roller
. Though this adhesive, great for heavier embellishments, is meant for more flat pieces, it's still great for thin words like this one. I just had to nudge the adhesive that stuck outside of the bounds of the words on with tweezers.
To finish up the page, I used the small tip of the Monotwin marker
to add journaling. This marker is made for writing on washi tape, so I thought it would be good for writing directly on photos as well. I was right! No smudging!
Here's how I adhered embellishments onto the right page:
I used foam tape
to raise up the wood chip "today" from the Shine Planner Kit
I cut very thin strips of the tape to fit onto the three thickest part of the word.
Just like on the previous page, I used Multi Mono Liquid Glue to adhere the cloud transparencies from the Shine Embellishment Kit
I used some label washi from an old Freckled Fawn kit--from June 2014!--because I was so excited to finally have a pen that would do a good job writing on it.
I attached the resin star from the Shine Embellishment Kit
with the XTreme roller (it conveniently covered up some text that wasn't relevant to the page).
And there you have it!! A perfectly embellished pocket scrapbooking spread!
I am so motivated to do more pocket scrapbooking after this post! Especially now that I know what adhesives to use for what types of embellishments. Make sure to go to the Tombow Blog
to see their fun mini notebook project post using FF and Tombow products!
