I was really inspired by the Foil Transparency Flowers in the December 2016 Embellishment Kit for my layout. I started by layering a couple of the December journaling cards under the photos of my daughter and added a strip of the gorgeous Floral Washi underneath the journaling card sentiment.
Next, I added one of the Chipboard Stickers from the December Kit on top of the washi and then began arranging the Foil Transparency Flowers, along with some of the Little Felt Doilies, around my page. I added my title, Sweet Girl, using the Cork Alpha pieces and adhered them to my background patterned paper using some Tombow glue. To complete my page, I sprinkled a few black ink spatters around and placed a couple of the Wood Shapes in a few spots for added dimension.
For this layout, I knew I wanted to use the lovely acetate letters from the October kit for a large title. After I arranged my title, I added my photo that I layered on top of one of the October journaling cards to the right of the letters.
I placed another journaling card to fill the space near the top left of my title and layered a couple of the adorable puffy house stickers on top of it. I offset the right side next to my photo with another card and used it to house my journaling.
I placed one of the oval cork frames with a puffy house sticker on top and placed a few of the sequin stars here and there to draw the eye around my page. I really love the colors of the embellishments in the October kit and how well they coordinate with my fall photos!
For this layout, I used items from the September kit, "Black/White", to add lots of color pop and contrast to my page. I used the black faux leather bow on top of one of the half circle wood chips and added one of the lovely resin flowers with the gemstone center to embellish the "all smiles" paper piece that I used for my layout.
I placed two long strips of the washi tape at the top and bottom of my page to coordinate with all of the pops of black on my layout.
I also added lots of the tiny, black enamel shapes to add contrast and a little dimension to the "love" die cut heart shape. I used a few of the chipboard phrases and card stock labels near the bottom of the die cut heart to complete my page.
I wanted to use the lovely October kit journaling cards on a layout so I started by placing a few of them vertically down a piece of white cardstock. I offset them just a bit, straddling the middle line of my page.
Next, I placed the photos of my daughter enjoying one last summer treat on two of the cards and offset one so I could use the "Love Today" sentiment for my title. I accented my title using one of the stickers in the kit and placed the "love" flair button on top of the frame.
I embellished around my photos using the beautiful blue glitter washi tape and several of the chipboard pieces from the kit. I also added several of the wood veneer arrows because I love how they pop against the navy blue!
I completed my layout by writing on the journaling card at the top of my page and then scattered a few of the navy sequin stars around for added dimension and shine.
